IS IT WITHIN THE FRAMEWORK OF NEW ZEALAND LAW?

WHAT WILL IT COST?
Depending on the size of the parking operation we endeavour to provide the service free of charge. For smaller locations we may ask for a contribution towards associated costs.
WILL THIS MONITORING AFFECT MY CUSTOMERS OR VISITORS?
The aim of TMS is to free up parking spaces so that genuine customers, visitors, clients may find a convenient space to park. This system does create a better turn-over for a car park thus enabling more people to use your facility.
CAN I JUST CALL YOU WHEN I HAVE PROBLEM OR DOES AN AGREEMENT NEED TO BE IN PLACE?
TMS requires a signed operational agreement to be in place for all sites it monitors.
WHAT HAPPENS WHEN PEOPLE WISH TO APPEAL A BREACH NOTICE?
TMS handles all issues relating to reviews, complaints and queries about the issuing of a non-compliance breach notice notice. Each person is treated with respect and sensitivity regarding their particular situation. Genuine parkers are never penalized by TMS.
IS THE ENFORCEMENT OF CAR PARKING ON PRIVATE LAND GOVERNED BY A CODE OF PRACTICE?
Traffic Monitoring Services is a foundation signatory of the ‘Code of Practice for Parking Enforcement on Private Land’ and was part of the working group responsible for its development. This Code summarises best practice for enforcement on private land, including signage, breach notices, customer service and appeals.
